Moving is stressful
so let us take care of the cleaning!


When moving out, if your property manager has a list of requirements, please share with us so that we can take care of those. If we aren't able to accommodate a specific request, we'll let you know at the time of booking.  

DEEP CLEANING

For your first Squad cleaning,
we recommend a deep cleaning, specially if you haven't previously used a recurring cleaning service.

The deep cleaning will allow the Squad to make your home/property spotless and to maintain it as such through recurring cleanings. 

RECURRING

Recurring cleanings maintain your home/property in a spotless shape. If
 you have special requests, the Squad can accommodate those. Note that depending on the type of request, there may be an additional fee. 

Recurring cleanings can be weekly, bi-weekly, every three weeks or monthly. Please note that for monthly or occasional service, the cost can vary depending on the condition of the home / property.

Jo's Cleaning Squad is a mother - daughter operated family business. 

meet Maria Rosales

Hola! My name is Maria and I have over 20 years of experience in the residential and commercial cleaning industry as a founder and business manager of a co-op. Although I'm transitioning away from the co-op business model, my passion for social justice and fair treatment of all will be reflected in our business practices at Jo's Cleaning Squad.

meet Joanna León

Hi! I’m Joanna (also known as Maria’s daughter, Jo or Jojo). I am a Bay Area native and Stanford alum. My background is in nonprofit management and most recently People Operations (spent the past 8 years in tech largely focused on company culture and all of what People Ops encompasses). At Jo's, we know the importance of collaboration, compassion and appreciation. The Squad is not a squad without its members.

Q: Do you send the same Squad personnel every time?
A: We pride ourselves in a personalized experience and do our best to send the same Squad personnel every time. If a change is needed last minute (life happens!), we will contact you first before sending different personnel. If rescheduling is preferred, we will reschedule, but if not, we will honor your appointment with different Squad personnel. 

Q: Can you use my cleaning products? 
A: We provide the cleaning products, unless you specify that you'd like the Squad to use yours. For the cleaning towels specifically, we provide these as well. However, for recurring services, we highly recommend that you provide your own set for sanitary reasons. If you choose not to, please know that the towels we use are thoroughly washed and disinfected. 


Q: What about tipping the Squad personnel? 
A: Tips are appreciated but of course voluntary! You can give the tip directly to your Squad team, or include it in your payment for us to distribute.  

Q: Is Jo's Cleaning Squad licensed and insured?

A: Yes! We are fully licensed and insured. We are covered by liability insurance and are bonded.

Q: What's considered a special request? 
A: We are happy to accommodate special requests an at extra cost. Special requests include: inside cleaning of the refrigerator or oven, windows, dishes and laundry.

Q: Is there anything I need to do to prep for the cleaning? 
A: Please declutter your home / property prior to your scheduled appointment. This will allow the Squad to make the most out of the cleaning time and to get to those hard to reach areas.
